Having done NM5 this morning i had to drive to london this afternoon, on my way down (and past a bad crash on the A1) i picked up the M25, and guess what i saw?!! 3 sierra cossies on the hard shoulder!! all with drivers out lol!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif is this a record of how many cossies you can get on the hard shoulder at one time?!! i take it they must have all broken down cos its illegal to stop on the hard shoulder for anything else http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

1 of them could have had a problem, and the other 2 could have stopped to help.

Given that I'm still a bit unsure of the MY01 looks, the new Focus cossie may be quite interesting don't you think???

Congratulations on a well balanced argument!
I'm pleased to see you guys are still trying to shoot us down.

TFyus 30 April 2001 01:45 PM

yawn :-)

maybe they stopped with oil starvation on piston/crank/shell number 3?

or maybe not as thats left to the badly designed engines.... *sigh*

my fordo is 1.7 times its normal power output and miles on and on and on and on...

The only good 4wd Ford is the ones used by farmer giles to plough his fields.

TFyus 30 April 2001 03:10 PM

Whereas the subaru was only able to go round the outside of the field carrying the sheep and really didnt have the torque requied to plough it?

anyhows i was talking 2wd... and plenty fast enough, round track country road or straight line...

Guys
Have a chat to Harj.
He`s been recently driving a "Certain RS".
Ask him how it compares to your portable toilets (Subapoos).
I think his exact words were "A different league" when he compared it to the 22B http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif (And thats one of the better models)
Anyway be careful out there if you are thinking of having your Scoobys Chipped as chips and soup http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif dont go down too well!
Roll on the piston soup. lol http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

P.S Cossies are still around 15 years after coming off the production line.

I've had 2, that was enough. Fondest memory. Car dying on me on the top floor of the Bentalls car park in Kingston at 7:55pm. That was a hoot to get down...... not.

In their defense, the RS200 is lovely, if somewhat of a Frankenstein's bride car!

Remember many years ago hearing 4 of these cruising along at together 40 or so from over a mile away http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif

Don't think that these fellas can be used to get you to and from work every day.

Biffo. its a bit Silly compairing a GroupB rally car that costs 100K to a road going impreza that costs 40K dont you think?

As a daily driver the 22B wins by miles. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

As a competition bred basket case mental 4 wheel spin in any gear nutter ba$tard the RS200 wins by miles. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

It goes like a rocket!
Whats it powered by http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Why don`t you try using one of the Scooby engines instead of the one you have got. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
You don`t need to answer this as I already know the answer.......You don`t wanna end up with Cadburys Dairy Milk all over your pride and joy http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif LOL
Only joking mate!
I just really enjoy giving these Scooby boys a taste of their own medicine.
Uncle Henry wouldn`t be very happy if he knew that these boys were taking the micky out of his motors.

TFyus 01 May 2001 11:52 AM

Especially the RS200 (Looking forward to seeing that in the flesh)
I`m only giving these boys a taste of whats to come http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

MarkG 02 May 2001 06:03 PM

I recently followed a Sierra Cossie(3 dr load exhaust, baseball cap, etc) on a stretch of the M5 south of Bristol. Upto about 120 we were pretty even, then he started to pull away. Got upto about 140, so I guess he was probably doing 150. The cloud of black smoke pouring out of his exhaust was hilarious, and had he not pulled off at the next junction it wouldn't have been long before he'd burned every drop of oil in the the engine. Very amusing.

Biffo 02 May 2001 06:08 PM

That was a diesel Cossie replica you silly boy http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
