Another abw thread, but different?
So, the abw arches, as marmite as the fmic? Regardless, I like them.
From what I gather, most people who have driven a classic with 17's and 18's would say the 17's are more of a 'drivers wheel'. Another taboo but not the point of this thread! When looking for pictures of abw's on a classic all I can find are ones with wide 18's that look raw, however rarely do I see them running wide 17's. Not only would they be arguably more drivable, the saving in tyres will be noticeable on tracks etc. Has anyone got any pics of a classic with the abw/17inch/wide wheel combination? |

Intrested in fitting some to mine, I also would want to keep my 17s

The race car at Richard Henry Motorsport runs them, it looks sweet as its on 255's but is normally tucked away so can't really have a proper gander.

here is mine, but i am on 18s but as the wheels are bigger than standard you get a taller side wall ie 215 35 18 =308mm and 255 35 18 =336 so you get a better ride .i prefer the 18 on the track |
