Gulf coast road trip 2014
 

Looking at a slightly different holiday thus year as the wife and I are a bit bored of just flying out to the villa in Kissimmee and her sitting by the pool and me spending my time on tarting the place up and making multiple visits to Home Depot. So, this time we have decided to fly out to McCoy International, spend a few days at the villa to chill out and then have a road trip.

Nothing too major, just a small part of the gulf coast.

Itinerary so far:
Clearwater
Sarasota
Treasure Island
Anna Maria Island
Venice
Fort Myers
Cape Coral
Sanibel Island
Naples

Possibly also visit:
Captiva Island & Lakes Regional Park

Then back to the villa for a few days before heading home.

Anyone here got any advice / warnings for any of our intended stops?

24 days in total so it shouldn't need to be too hectic. :)

Sitting here in the pissing rain & thoroughly sick of the UK weather it was fully my intention to reply with a less than generous spirit.
