Maz 10 January 2014 09:35 PM

Not going out?

g7prs 10 January 2014 09:41 PM

Quite like the big bang theory, if you like nerdy humour. It also has some eye candy which helps.

jods 10 January 2014 09:57 PM

Big Bang. Not going out.

stand easy 10 January 2014 10:01 PM

Another one for not going out. Cos I never go out! Can predict the punch lines now and then but I like it

Last thing to make me laught on TV was Mrs Brown, & even it is starting to get a bit stale now.

SJ_Skyline 11 January 2014 06:39 AM

Big Bang Theory
Outnumbered

RobsyUK 11 January 2014 06:58 AM

How i met your mother.

Kwik 11 January 2014 07:12 AM

Not going out is weak and predictable. There's nothing really, Karl Pilkington was the last thing I watched which made me laugh.

borderlinechris 11 January 2014 07:17 AM

id like to say Miranda is really funny.

................... id like to say that but its the biggest load of pish ive seen in a long time.

the IT crowd or Father Ted repeats whenever they`re on.:thumb::D

LSherratt 11 January 2014 07:54 AM

What about the new series of Benidorm?

Osimabu 11 January 2014 08:01 AM

Do Father Ted and Phoenix Nights count as sit-coms?

dpb 11 January 2014 08:05 AM

No really

chocolate_o_brian 11 January 2014 09:42 AM

Not Going Out and Mrs Browns Boys are about the two which make me laugh currently.

RA Dunk 11 January 2014 10:36 AM

I'm not watching any sit coms just now but this is probably the funniest/mentalist bloke on TV for me right now. Shelby Stanga from Ax Wars.

He's getting his own series soon as well.

I think Miranda is quite funny in a cheesy way, worryingly I think I might actually fancy her

Vicar of dibley was hilarious.

Don't get the attraction of Mrs. Brown's Boys at all. The jokes are virtually announced 5 minutes before they are delivered and the visual aspect of them reminds me of bad Benny Hill style humour. It's comedy for the easily pleased in my book and about 40 years out of date!

Not Going Out on the other hand is a very well written and acted sharp sit-com albeit with some jokes that don't work. The last series was lame as the loss of Tim Vine has killed the dynamic, but series 2-5 are generally very funny aside from when Bobby Ball is in it... I find him unwatchable!

Comedy is a very subjective thing though. Friends is a great example. I used to hear people go on about it all the time so decided to give it a go. I can honestly say I have never watched a programme as bad.... poor acting, jokes delivered with the subtlety of a sledgehammer, bad writing, completely stupid situations.... just utterly utrkly awful in every way! Yet people love it! Oh well!

Peep Show has to be the funniest thing in a long while
