Pioneer AVH-X1500DVD

Here we have a Pioneer double din AVH-X1500DVD head unit, which is practically brand new. I Purchased this head unit back in the summer and had it in the car for about two months (the car was only a weekend car, so minimal use), then decided to sell the car. Having just bought a new car, over the Christmas period I thought would be productive and put this in however being a Ford and there unique 1.5 din radio this does not fit.

This head unit comes complete with the CA-IW.201V cable (Cost me an additional £40.00) which allows you to connect your Ipod/Iphone.

This head unit cost me £280.00 back in the summer, its a really neat bit of technology, with an App mode, Mixtrak feature, DVD Player and a really cool fully customisable display.

This can be linked up to a rear camera and sat nav, however you will need to purchase additional cables etc

For all the technical data and a video showing the Mixtrak feature this is on Pioneers website

Also a lot of Videos on youtube.

Doubt you're gonna get £200 mate, brand new from PixMania £178 and you can get the cable for £20.

That's fair enough, I am open to offers with this in mind

£100 without the £40 cable ?

hoff900 07 January 2014 12:10 PM

Scotty_boy_80 thanks, but I'd rather not split.

ScoobyNoob79 07 January 2014 12:19 PM

I'd say £150 all in would be a reasonable price, then postage on top if required.

hoff900 07 January 2014 01:48 PM

Scoobynoob79, again I would agree with your comment this would be a fair offer I would be willing to accept.

scotty boy 80 08 January 2014 07:20 AM

Ill leave an offer of £120 on the table and you can keep the £40 cable to sell on ebay.

If scoobnoob says you can get it new for £178 then I dont know why you would pay over £150 for a second hand unit I would rather pay the extra £28 and have a warrenty

hoff900 08 January 2014 08:08 AM

Scotty_boy_80 thanks, but as said before I am not splitting.

£150 would including the additional cable, so buying a brand new unit you are looking at £220 all in. So at £150 that's a saving of 47% (nearly half price).

Thanks

How to fit?

Hi, I'm looking at buying one of these to fit in my 04 blob eye.

I've removed my old double din stereo. What wire harness adapter will I need and how does this new unit fit on the 6 fixings where the old stereo fitted? Looks like the brackets will unbolt from the old one so did you just bolt them onto the new one?

Not bought it yet so just looking for some advice please! Does it fit in the hole exactly or is a cover bezel needed?

Anyone happy with it?

Cheers for any help!
