Goodyear F1 AS2's going on.

Getting these fitted over the weekend (225/40/18). Looking forwards to how they feel after hearing good reports/reviews. Been running Dunlop Sport Maxx GT's for a while, been a very good tyre and quiet too.

Any experiences?

Very good road tyre, grip and wet weather handling is fantastic for a daily driver like mine. Im sure there are stickier tyres but for an all rounder, I find them more than adequate and ill be replacing mine in the next month with another set.

Found them good on my Audi A4 Quattro. Wear was the only concern I had but so far so good.

got them on my audi and they are great , sold loads to scoob owners to with good feedback

I'm planning on a full set of these and an alignment when it comes time to change mine.

I have just bought some for my BMW in 275/19 :D I hope they do grip well in the wet.

Drove them back from the shop today and first impressions is that they've softened the ride slightly, which is welcome. Noise wise they are quiet, similar to my previous tbh. Absolute grip will be tested over the next few weeks once they've settled in. Look big on the wheel, with plenty of lip protection.

I couldn't part with the old girl - thanks for the nod.:) Being an ugly bug wagon it's nice to see someone else appreciate her unique proportions. It's quite an understated machine but has real word appeal and pace. I like a stealthy sleeper style. Enginetuner 2.1 has been the cherry on the cake - great engine.

Ha ha, I'm the owner of an ugly bug wagon too! I love the understated sleeper look, it's a real credit to you. I'm working my way towards a similar spec this year hopefully.

I've been running the F1 as2 for the last year in the same size on a 2006 WRX and found them to be a very good all round performer, except in snow and ice. So I run a decent set of winter tyres as well. I bought this set because I'd had good results with the earlier F1s

lThats a shame having to work Sunday. Although I had to for many years , But not anymore :)

About 25 Somerset Scoobys + contingents from Snet, Cymraeg and Bristol & Bath so plenty of Scoobs will be in attendance lol
