218bhp s2 Escort RS Turbo.
Scary but fun. |
My j-reg 205gti in metallic green, sitting on Konis with a custom exhaust & optional extra alloys.
Was literally a little go-kart, so responsive through the twisty's ;). |
noble m400
|
1993 MR2 turbo, ridiculous amounts of fun/danger
|
Quickest was my 313/300 Scoob but for fun (rose tinted specs) was my 2nd Nova SR. Lowered running 14's with a PCS exhaust - complete hoot :D
|
Me too.
Bought my first in the early 90's and second some years later to take me back :lol1: Nik.

Most fun: Integrale Evo I (in Blu Madras :)) :luvlove:
All the raving by the mags about the handling and steering feel is true! Incredible. Really, REALLY miss her. :( And 5 GT turbo and 205 GTI 1.9. Even the Phase 1 Clio 16V was groovy. Fastest: My current STi 5 4-door running 384/349. |
Quickest - 400bhp Evo 8
Most fun - Toss up between the 106gti(lift oversteer was ridiculous lol) or my old V6 Type R |
Quickest = 600bhp GTR
Most fun = 1600 caterham replica race car |
Quickest - 430hp/430lbsft Classic Impreza
Most fun and the car I most wish I still owned- 320hp Impreza RA |
Most outrageous was my Wife's Mini GP. All pops and crackles on gear changes / overrun and a lot of fun in the twisties.
Fastest has to be the Forester STi, no one expects it to go like it does and 330/330 seems to suit it really well. It's a hoot coming off slip roads and round abouts. |
R5 turbo
|
Our old legacy GTB (BG5), most folk have no idea what they are, they're very reliable and ultra practical, acceleration in 3rd/4th from 90 to 130 once the 2nd turbo kicks in is incredible.
My STi3 is much quicker off the mark, but they attract too much attention and you can only have fun in short bursts. |
Quickest = Evo 6 and STI Type RA V5
Most fun = Celica ST205 track prepped, running around 310bhp, stripped, caged etc. |
Run down to Le Mans in a TVR Sagaris. Crazy car.

It's got to be my red shed! series 1 106 Rallye, 16 valve, itb's, various plastic panels. 186bhp and low 700kgs. It's was a road rocket, superb car and I've have another at the drop of a hat.

But the scariest/most fun car I've had was a Stuart Taylor with a ZX12 Kawasaki bike engine. It wanted to kill me pretty much every time I took it out :freak3:
|
this was my mums car and it was sooooo much fun to drive :luxhello:
http://s22.postimg.org/6repoqq75/Photo0169.jpg driving it over 95mph took real balls as you felt every bump due to the non existent suspension and lack of power steering :lol1: broke her heart when she had to sell it (due to her ill health) as she had only ever owned minis her entire life :( still it went to an enthusiast so there were some happy tears  |
Best fun was my mk1 golf gti (2.0 - g60 ) :-)
Fastest and scariest was my old rb5 (575) bhp |
