Anyone fitted ht autos side skirt extensions?

Hi guys,

I got a set for xmas to stick on my 05 Sti, I have offered them up and it seems like they sit reeealy low down, is this correct?

scoobyboy1 26 December 2013 12:19 PM

I know it sounds a stupid question, but have you defiantly got them the right way round???:wonder:

Fitted some rear skirt extensions and took me a few attempts to work out that I had them upside down!!

Get some pics up when fitted!!!:thumb:

They are the right way,

I'll get under the car on my day off and have a proper go at it.

A bit pissed though, the family were under the impression that they were black, they aren't. They are a **** grey plastic.

They will now need flatting and painting in some kind of finish that will resemble the polyurethane splitter.

Had to spray my rear bumper splitter extensions, Used Satin black from Halfords to match my front splitter!!:thumb:

Want to see how your sideskirt ones look before I go for them to match my front and rears!!

Im so glad you mentioned that, I thought they were black too, HT promote them as black...might avoid them now as its more cost! Are you talking about the lower line kit?

I am off on the 31st so i'll test fit them when I fit my diffuser and take some pics, obviously they wont be in the black but you will get a good idea of how they fit.

i always believed they were designed for the flat wrx side skirt, pics i seen when fitted to sti ones they sit low and have a little gap towards the rear where they twist making them look a little odd to be honest wheres on the wrx they fit like the evo ones

No disrespect to HT Autos but
They are miles behind the charge speed items in the looks department
( they are def the ones to go for on twisted skirts )
Anyone interested will have to order from USA tho

Why??

Chargespeed's UK distributor is

http://www.srbpower.com/

no problem getting items shipped/delivered in and probably no more expensive than from the US.

tubbytommy 26 January 2014 10:39 AM

Jesus they look crap

M2RTXhawkeye 26 January 2014 10:43 AM

Don't think the charge speed one will look right on mine

Martin

Best alternative is too fit nothing. They don't belong and look stupid on new age cars.
