This Subaru has 18x12 wheels and 5x100 hub. I have not heard that he would have been some problems with the bearings.

Thanks, that's good to hear. Do you have any more pictures of the car?

r33gts2009 21 December 2013 02:14 PM

I like the fitment

cuprajake 21 December 2013 03:02 PM

Really wanted these when I had my hawk. But us prices made them over £600 plus import. So great price

I suppose i am in a reasonably decent position, my friend and i are handy enough to not need a body shop to fit these, so the work is essentially free,

XXR 521's come in at £600
Arches in at around £300 if not a little bit less perhaps
I have tyres knocking about so not a problem
Then just paint.. so maybe a couple hundred?

So 1K or there abouts..

Even if it was a bit more, as long as ben is able to produce something that isn't far off the originals then its a good deal.

johnnybon 21 December 2013 09:08 PM

I have a set of rota fighters 18/10 et20 rubber 265 toyo 888 I think they will work
:wonder::thumb:

6VOLT 21 December 2013 10:09 PM

They would work a treat.

That shouldnt be a problem I already have some sets lined up that should be coming in early into the new year. The more people we have on this list the cheaper I will be able to do them so spread the word and i'll help out as best I can with discounts :thumb:

Would think that my 9.5 inch wheels would not be enough for these bad boys!!!

Would you be looking at 255/40/18 as a minimum???

kevfawcett 29 December 2013 04:43 PM

IIRC most of the lads in America run a 295 wide tyre. A 9.5" wheel would look lost, unless it had a negative offset which would be crazy

I'll have a look about see what I can find, it'd be handy to find out where it comes from first.

Blob eye for me please. Need to work out the Rota Grid offset and size that I can run to max concave on these....

CarBen Fibre Creations 03 January 2014 08:00 AM

You will be able to have 18x10/18x11 and its recommended you have at least 10.5 +15.

1. Badbadleeroybrown - Bugeye
2. Psyge - Blobeye
3. Fraser - Bugeye (blob rear)
4. 6VOLT - Blobeye
5. Anger- Blobeye
6. Johnnybon - Blobeye
7. Robthompson719 - blobeye
8. SCOOBYD00 - Blobeye

I will post up details of prices once the flares arrive. I will require at least 6 people interested in each model (bug/blob/hawk) before I make a start on the project, this is because each set requires different moulds. Once I have 6 people I will ask each person with that model for a £50 deposit. Once the moulds are complete I will invoice for the remainder of the balance and then send out the flares, this could take a while depending on our workload so please be patient :)

Group buy rates will be based on the overall list (all models), once I have prices worked out I will be able to let you know how much discount can be offered

Hope that makes sense guys :thumb:

CarBen Fibre Creations 03 January 2014 02:23 PM

Need a car? :D

CarBen Fibre Creations 03 January 2014 03:05 PM

Looking like you have fitted Wagon/GX wings and only one way how to get it flared is to fit WRX/STI wings with the bumper
