Should Subaru built a 5-doors WRX/STI?

Could do with one for when I take my 3 Maine Coons to the vets.

I've always thought they really missed a large proportion of the car buying market and indeed the vast majority of people who can afford to buy these cars new (30+ family men) by not having a 5 door saloon look car like a mondeo or avensis, the hatch was probably the worst way to combine the two.

But to be fair I don't think Subaru were ever any good at designing cars as there isn't one that could be considered "beautiful" in the looks department, although the classics have grown on me.

Presumably Torque News is America based and focused. Only there could they describe the hatch as if it were where it all started and the comment about the hatch being the WRX we all know and love. :lol1:

Obviously the British aren't included in the 'we' of we all know and love seeing as it has been a complete failure here!
