Hello everyone in ScoobyNet! My name is Eric. Im new to the forum and 3 years owning my 1999 Impreza RS. I live in the USA and I'm looking forward to getting to know some fellow Subaru enthusiasts!

Bare with me guys. I have some photos uploaded to a photo sharing site but my home computer is down and I can't post them through my mobile. I can tell you you the usdm gm6 impreza is basically a version 5 jdm sti looks wise minus the rear deck spoiler. I'm searching for a genuine prodrive rb5 WR sport spoiler but no luck yet! I know they are very rare! Engine is an NA 2.5 (EJ25). You guys might not have got the RS but you definitely have the holy grail of Subarus...the impreza 22b!!! The US didn't see a turbo version impreza until the blob eye V7! My car has a few goodies on it. I installed Jdm tail lights, STI carbon strut tower bar, V7 cat back Sti exhaust, UEL exhaust manifold, phenolic intake manifold spacers and modified oem air intake with a k&n drop in air filter. I also upgraded the brakes. One day I may get the coin to do a full V7 or newer sti swap but for now I'm just interested in preserving the body/chassis. Hopefully I will get the pictures up soon.

I have a question about the marketplace. Must I be a member for a certain length of time before I can purchase things? I found someone on here possibly selling the spoiler I'm interested in but the forum says I don't have privlages to post in the thread! I tried looking in the FAQ but it just said some parts of the marketplace required a paid membership. Some insight please.

Yeah, to access the marketplace you need to be a paid up member but that doesn't prevent you from sending a private message to the seller :thumb:
