Classic Coilpacks to Newage coilpacks

Just about to embark on this little upgrade, my current coilpacks i think, well hope, are not coping with the extra boost since remap and are breaking down, so ive sourced a set of newage coilpacks with wiring harness for £70 delivered, not a bad price i thought ? worth the upgrade or stick to current style of coils on the classic ?

Any issues with going to newage coils you dont hear about until after you do the mOd LOL

Cheers

What is the benefit of switching to the newage coilpacks exactly guys and how would I know if the old 1s are starting to brake down?

Classic pack insulation goes brittle and cracks with age. Compare the two and you cant fail to see the difference in build quality and improved design. I didn't notice mine were breaking down until I got it mapped on the rollers and got worse soon after.
First sign was hesitation under load.
For the sake of £100ish and a couple of hours work its a no brainer, best value mod you'll ever do to a classic IMO.

I had the car missing under high boost, and when I increased the boost i had bad hesitation.
The new coil packs will last much longer!
