Reverse Vent + Rain
Just fitted a reverse vent and I have noticed that with this crappy weather we are getting at the moment, it is getting rather moist under the bonnet.
Is this something to worry about? |
Water pours in with the normal scoop without causing problems. Perhaps if it's chucking it all over an aftermarket air filter?
|
i fitted a piece of perspex under my scoop for the winter, no need for the scoop with a fmic but i think imprezas dont look right without the scoop there
|
Cheers.
Im not overly worried about it, just thought i would ask if anybody else had encountered any problems. Not 100% sure i am going to keep it but is good for an additional demister. ;) |
Had mine on for a couple of winters now. Through rain, lots of snow and everything else that's chucked at us, it's been fine....
|
Other than messing up the bay, surely it's fine and no different from having a normal scoop whilst in motion?
|
Coolio.
Not too fussed about the looks of the bay, it's far from show condition. :) |
