Another Jolly Green Monster Thankyou

Huge thanks to Simon for tweeking the map today after I fitted a FMIC

405.4bhp...... I'm happy with that :thumb:

Car drives so smoothly aswell, over the moon with it.

harrisard 06 November 2013 05:54 PM

Hi mate what turbo and supporting mods you running to get that power?

Harri

Moley 06 November 2013 06:51 PM

2003 UK STI, RCM400 turbo, 3" de-catted exhaust, 650cc injectors, FMIC, RCM filter.

Nice one Gary, great power and you must be very happy with the results

What power you are run previously on the TMIC?

Jura

Moley 06 November 2013 09:45 PM

385bhp on the standard TMIC

Drove past you earlier

richie001 06 November 2013 10:10 PM

Is that on standard internals Gaz ?

The reason I ask is that I spoken to a couple of tuners...both with great reputations who have both advised me not to try 400 on standard UK spec internals :wonder:

Jolly Green Monster 06 November 2013 10:29 PM

Obviously the engines are getting older but pushed my own demo to 503bhp and couldnt break it 20k later. Therefore consider 450-480 safe on standard sti newage engine.

Glad your happy with it Gary.

Simon

Jolly Green Monster, What is your opinion on the max power for Bugeye WRX Internals?

Jolly Green Monster 07 November 2013 08:55 AM

350 is usually fine. Have run more but wouldnt recommend unless risk accepted

quattroowner 07 November 2013 10:52 PM

Aye Simon is certainly one of the best in the business. hopefully see you again in springtime just before shes back on the road

Had 390 on mine on std internals for a while! Mine let go on the autobahn after a ring trip (TMIC and sustained 140+ driving up hill do not mix) - Simon did warn me!

Nice one Gary, do you mind me asking what FMIC you are running on the Blob?

Tyler 1 08 November 2013 01:30 PM

Oh yes, did the job very well :thumb:

It's a Japspeed FMIC but i've replaced the silicone hoses that came with the kit with SFS ones, and i'm changing the clamps from the kit to Murray clamps from AS Performance, as i've already blown a pipe off!

white noise 08 November 2013 03:18 PM

Glad it's ok matey,
I had a clamp blow off not long after fitment , it's been ok since but may upgrade to Murray ones
Have you a link to the ones AS Performance are selling ?

Moley 08 November 2013 03:31 PM

I don't have a link, just rang up and spoke to Alyn
