Been on a sorn for 5 years!!! Looks clean tho. Wonder if he's got the original steering wheel. :wonder:.

LDNSTi 04 November 2013 06:05 PM

Just to add, not the best pics. None of engine and number plaque :(.

huzzy1 04 November 2013 06:15 PM

Aftermarket indicators and both badges and titanium wing badges have been removed.

EssexJamie 04 November 2013 06:31 PM

Looks good to me, shame about the badges and would like to see the number plaque and engine pics though.

Trinity 04 November 2013 06:39 PM

I guess it could be a fake...but looks straight enough (hoping thats the sun light causinf that colour change on the rear panel and door)...at the price some 22bs have been going for recently, if it is real, its a bargain.

But what an advert for an 18K+ car

Title - Subaru. lmao

LDNSTi 04 November 2013 06:42 PM

I wonder If it's been on a sorn for that long because it's taken that long to do a 22b body kit etc......??

mickp 04 November 2013 06:43 PM

Why would anyone with a genuine 22B advertise in that way. The advert will put more people off than it attracts.

huzzy1 04 November 2013 06:48 PM

Obviously wants to get shot of it, crap advert=not arsed! Bargain to be had.

myblackwrx 04 November 2013 06:49 PM

It says in the advert to email him so why don't some of you do that if you're that bothered about the car and it's advert??

v6wrx 04 November 2013 07:02 PM

It's only down the road from me may take a quick look ;)

Rattle, Cot...

Its a discussion on a 'open opinion forum', the joys of the free world :)

v5 man 04 November 2013 07:15 PM

Beautiful car..... ****e advert :D

Fonzey 04 November 2013 07:19 PM

Certainly worth a look for somebody local. Could be a quick 6-7k flip (or one hell of a keeper).

Ahh a mature response from someone who can't actually give a sensible reply and has to rely on the old 'free world' bollocks.

Am I not free to to post whatever I want in response to you query?

If you are that curious about it why not actually ask him as it does have numerous differences between what you would expect and what it actually has?

jonnyricer2 04 November 2013 07:39 PM

Shouldnt it have red clear rear lights??

No it's a Type UK and they got the boring lights.

nyscooby 04 November 2013 09:14 PM

looks different colours...

Same issue as the Evo Tommy Mak syndrome........ far to pricey....
dont care what people think, not worth the money

If it's a straight genuine 22B how can you say it's not worth the money? It's the ONLY Impreza that will ever appreciate significantly in value. People go on about Cosworths, Spec Cs, RA-Rs etc. but 22Bs are the cars that will be the sought after example of the marque in years to come. In fact it's the only Impreza that is worth the money as everything else will carry on devaluing and this one (if genuine and in good order) is actually underpriced!

huzzy1 04 November 2013 09:40 PM

If it is a Type UK that would explain why it isn't numbered and doesn't have the interior badge. Still should have the '22B Type UK' badge on the back though. Hmmm, talking £35k upwards here if it is a UK.

juggers 04 November 2013 10:59 PM

UK car or Jap spec doesn't really make a difference. Not lie it comes with a three year warranty :)

Worlasshasansti 04 November 2013 11:14 PM

Looks good to me, probably worth remembering that just because the owner has the money to be running around in a 22b doesn't mean he actually gives a ****e what it is.

If he's got plenty cash to be buying expensive cars he might have just liked the colour if you will.

He put just as much effort in his last ad :D
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-2002-/...p2047675.l2557

Is he the owner or did he get a lucky barn find with both :norty:

Agreed Imy, but the quirky thing is that people still believe that it being an "official" car makes it worth an extra couple of grand... that little slice of history where it was imported by a company that isn't actually Subaru but has the name "Subaru UK" also makes it a better car than one imported by another company or individual!

My feeling is that there is something up with the car in the advert. No sign of the wing badges and I can't make out a 22b sticker on the rear. No engine bay shots. The 22b I drove all those years ago had a plaque on the interior telling me what is was, can't see it there.

Might be a genuine 22b but something isn't right. As mentioned before, if it is then at 26k on the clock it's one of the bargains of the year for an investor.

Scooby Stevo 05 November 2013 12:32 PM

probably an old boy who's not into computers

title for the ad - Subaru :luxhello:

tony de wonderful 05 November 2013 12:38 PM

I've put more effort into selling £20 computer games on ebay.
