1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1
Gentlemen. I was in the presence of this masterpiece today...

Oh my goodness :)
|
Very nice indeed mate I am all over the classic yank muscle cars just a shame they are no longer practical or reliable as a every day car now otherwise I would have one instead of my Monaro Vxr.
|
Ex-GF's dad had a yellow & black one, very loud and mental. Was awesome!
|
Another vote for American muscle cars
http://i559.photobucket.com/albums/s...g/5eb790f8.jpg http://i559.photobucket.com/albums/s...g/23476bd0.jpg When we go ack to Cebu we ride around in this 96 modle not as nice as the first op picture though Wifes nephew has a 68 mustang in black 6.2 ltr engine I think and we go cruising in that at 12 mpg great fun revving up at the traffic lights I always stick £20 of fuel in it and the petrol pump attendances can't believe it as they get £2 a day wages We go to a car club which has lots of American muscle cars ,really big scene over there as easy to maintain and fuel is cheap if you can afford a car in the phillipnes If I had silly money to burn I would have a mustang new shape in this country |

My old 74' vette. Rebored to 6 litre.
It handled like a boat but my god it was fast! http://i487.photobucket.com/albums/r...05-09_1711.jpg |
Love the vette. If money were no object I'd import a Shelby GT500. Or wish I had the skills to restore a 72 like the one above. It was immaculate. Inside and out. Amazed the guy had it out in the wet
|
would have to an earlier 'stang for me..................
|
it would have to be a trans-am for me-smokey and the bandit style OR a certain
1981 base Chevrolet G series van with a certain red stripe on it :norty::norty::norty: |
When I bought my muscle car in 1982 I had a choice between a '69 390GT Mustang and a 1971 383ci Dodge Charger. At the time there were lots of pony cars around, but not too many of these.

http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/...ps26a6dd32.jpg That's really old school can't remember the last time I saw one of those on the roads Just something magic about old 60/70/80s cars When I was a bit boy I remember seeing a red one with A starsky and hutch white stripe on it :D |
Love that Mk3. The first family car we had when i was a kid. We had some great times in that car. I was just the basic 1.3 but had a 1.6 gearbox. J reg.
|
Ha yer I think every town had a mk3 with a starsky and hutch stripe
