subaru impreza turbo 2000 exhaust system
Hi everyone, I'm buying a Subaru Impreza turbo 2000 soon and this may sound like a stupid question but im looking to change the whole exhaust system but I'm going to get a sports cat for it and center decat pipe and tornado back box but my question is the sports cat im looking at is a 3" bore size but the center and rear box bore size is 2.5" so can the difference in bore size damage the engine or anything like that or does it not matter that the bore sizes are different?
The only reason I'm not getting a 3" bore size on the center and rear box is because all the exhaust system that i look at that are 3" bore size always come out at an angle from the rear bumper which look ok but i'm not a big fan of an angled rear box just like the straight out from the rear bumper look thank you everyone |
It doesn't matter. Some cars have a 3'' downpipe to 2.5'' centre section.
