Blue smoke on startup

Hi all. I started my Scooby up this morning and jumped out and noticed some blue smoke coming out the exhaust, but only for a couple of seconds and then it's gone. It was cold this morning and it does run rich on cold. I've recently had a free flowing decat exhaust system on it and had it mapped yesterday. Seems to be running fine with no issues. Should I worry?

whats the oil level like on the engine ??
Usually if its just above full with the extra power of the map it throws the oil to the rear of the sump and some ends up in the breathers

Hi rob. Thanks for you're reply. The oil level is to the max but not over full. I never noticed this before the map. So hoping this could be the issue as the car runs sweet.

Have you only noticed it since changing the exhaust?

as a lack of back pressure on the turbo oil seal can allow oil to blow past.

if its not a lot dont worry about too much yet lol

My classic does this from time to time, just keep an eye on the oil level, and if you get a chance have a look in the intercooler pipe for excessive amounts of oil.
