What's your budget fella? And have you looked in the for sale section?

Bean592 28 September 2013 04:52 PM

From the ones I've seen for sale they range between £7.5 and 9.5k so thats where im aiming my level at

Which model do you mean, there is some confusion when it comes to newages and version numbers.
You're better off going by year.

Always thought Version 9 was widetrack 05-55plate blobeye, and Version 10 was Hawkeye 06-07 plate????

While were here, if anyone wants to change it???:D

Version 1-6 Classic
Version 7 Bugeye
Version 8-9 Blobeye
Version 10 Hawkeye
Version 11 Hatch

Thats what I thought but apparently not. Alyn from AS performance did tell me what year/version numbers they are but I've forgotton. Its on a thread somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

It's what most people understand the versions to be but yes the proper differentiation is different :)

IMHO

Version 1-6 were STi classics

When the newage came out Subaru Japan stopped naming Stis by their version numbers.
The proper convention is by the model year. Only the UK have used STi7 & 8 etc.

UK salesmen used the term STi7 to sell the MY02STi UK not Subaru. As they all sold they were happy to call the MY03 a STi8. BUT struggled when the same model MY04 & My05 came out.
