alcazar 20 September 2013 05:35 PM

But is it REAL?

How did YOU find it Andy?

Type_R_1984 20 September 2013 05:48 PM

Haha that's a cracker.

mamoon2 20 September 2013 06:10 PM

Brilliant

pimmo2000 20 September 2013 06:11 PM

Having digs at the other parents about not knowing their kids dads probably sums up where the daughter (if it's real) got her attitude from.

ScoobyDoo555 20 September 2013 06:51 PM

That's fantastic. Will be interesting to see how many sandal-wearing parents object to this type of punishment :D

As is mostly the case in these situations it sounds like they deserve each other

PaulC72 20 September 2013 07:05 PM

trollops...lol.

ditchmyster 20 September 2013 07:07 PM

The thing that bothers me the most about that is people are willing to pay over £2k for each of those tickets to see one direction. :cuckoo:

Yeah it's real. The bids were about 400$ when I did. A mate residing in Oz linked me through Faceache. :)

SJ_Skyline 20 September 2013 07:58 PM

When my kids said they liked one direction, the wife locked them in the car with Rammstein on. She's a good egg really :D

So you've been outbid? :p

quattroowner 20 September 2013 11:46 PM

Watching them live would be enough of a punishment to give up my laddish and womanizing way's . .

For now . .

LSherratt 21 September 2013 12:35 AM

Excellent :lol1:

+1

Not just digs at other parents but her whole manner just seems a little inappropriate, a little hysterical and melodramatic. And so as you and Hodgy have pointed out the daughter probably behaves in the same way.

Quality sale, and as for one direction I think they're great - I can send the wife and kids off to the concert and have a night of peace and quiet:D

dpb 21 September 2013 09:19 AM

I'm sure most parents would like to present their kids with a one way ticket to Sydney, at some stage
That's how read it lol

Probably was, yes, but the sellers settings may have not had questions visible on the auction.

Brilliant. That's how it should be done.

My daughter got a 32" LCD with all the goodies this year when I found a website having a closing down sale ( I bought x 2). I purchased a swinging bracket for it, hung it up and connected Apple TV Tobit until I got up the ladders to fetch through a coax. My 7 year old daughter the day later decided that she would try out some new choice sentences on me that she must have learnt from her so called friends, impulsively I went upstairs with me SnapOn and removed the tv and installed it in my younger sons bedroom ;)

The only way to get through to a disobedient/rude child is to take away things that matter to them. Shouting and even physical punishment does not work, it makes you a bad role model and creates more of a monster. I'm a manager of people at work, I see it all day long in adults too.

When I was a child I recall being grounded with no toys, given lines, and belted. Did it work, hell yes! Although I wasn't scared of the belt! It was the peering out of the window with my mates playing out while I do lines that made me pull into line.

I’m not your friend. I’m your MOTHER. And I am here to give you the boundaries that YOU NEED to become a functional responsible adult. You may hate me now….. But I don’t care. Its my job to raise a responsible adult..not nuture bad habits in my teen age child.
