Security recommendations

I am finally spending a bit of cash on the scooby and am now concerned that the standard newage security needs an upgrade.
What would you fine people recommend
Better alarm ? If so which one ?
Visual deterents like disklok ? Or others
Didn't want a snap of steering wheel coz I want to keep the air bag.

Your help is appreciated

Aftermarket alarm-I had a Clifford concept system which came with Blackjax-superb bit of kit.You can also have a turbo timer as an add on to the Clifford.Ive had one on my last three cars. There are loads of decent alarm systems out there though.
You can buy the Blackjax as a standalone unit and is well worth the money.
Something visual and mechanical too like a full wheel disclock
If you do get an aftermarket alarm,do your research re installer.

Any good recommendations on aftermarket alarms. On my previous cars I have had a toad and Clifford. Who is leading the way at the moment?

Knowing your bias please don't mind but doesn't Clifford's avant guard have intellistart as part of its thatcham approval. Also black jax is a nice bit of kit.
