From your list Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and Dexter would be my top 3. You need to add Mad Men too... a different pace and style to a lot of series, but all the better for it.

I would say all of them are worth watching, Weeds is also ok so is Blue Bloods.

A little older but Entourage if you haven't already seen it.

Never watched breaking bad myself.

I'd choose, Walking dead, Strike back and Banshee in that order initially.

I put other and would recommend Hell on Wheels.

+2. The HD sound on blu-ray is immense. I literally crapped myself on about the 7th episode in the black forests when a horse comes from behind you and gallops forward.

The Pacific is also awesome. I had to rewind the opening credits at least 3 times each episode to listen to the scoreline. Another epic masterpiece by Hans Zimmer!

Another for Band of Brothers, quite liked The Pacific too.

Most of them are good, however I'd add "The wire" and "Jericho" as ones to watch.

I'm currently on season 2 of "Lost" again.

I had the world telling me Game of Thrones was a must watch, I watched 3 SERIES back to back. Mildly ok. Watched one series of Vikings and it was epicc. So much more exciting, interesting and historicly correct. Needs to be shown at school IMO

How can GoT be historically correct ?

Hey, I think I did rather well not making too many mistakes in that post, I was hammered when I got home from the pub. PS. Read the damn post, Im trying to say all the people who rave about GoT need to realise its not that great.... I said Vikings is Historically correct and alot more factual/educational. GoT was a pile of turd IMO
