Sopranos is the best thing there IMHO.

I've been watching homeland recently and really liked that too.

hpoolsteve 09 September 2013 01:05 PM

Breaking Bad
Banshee
Sons of Anarchy
Vikings
Game of Thrones
Prison Break
Homeland
Walking Dead
Boardwalk Empire
Dexter
True Blood
Strike Back
Sopranos
Suits
Mad Men
The Following

The ones in red i have currently seen. The others are on my list

JayM 09 September 2013 01:10 PM

I'd add Flashpoint, Rookie Blue, Person of Interest, The Shield

f1_fan 09 September 2013 01:12 PM

From your list Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and Dexter would be my top 3. You need to add Mad Men too... a different pace and style to a lot of series, but all the better for it.

Ant 09 September 2013 01:44 PM

• Breaking Bad
• Banshee
• Sons of Anarchy

• Vikings
• Game of Thrones
• Prison Break
• Homeland
• Walking Dead
• Boardwalk Empire
• Dexter

Seen all in red and i think homeland is quality but to pick the best out of them is a tough one!

I would say all of them are worth watching, Weeds is also ok so is Blue Bloods.

P1Fanatic 09 September 2013 07:14 PM

How about Brickleberry (Its on "Viva")?
Its the crudest and funniest adult cartoon humour on telly.

Never watched breaking bad myself.

I'd choose, Walking dead, Strike back and Banshee in that order initially.

EddScott 10 September 2013 03:49 PM

I put other and would recommend Hell on Wheels.

Western based around the building of a railroad.

zip106 10 September 2013 03:51 PM

+2. The HD sound on blu-ray is immense. I literally crapped myself on about the 7th episode in the black forests when a horse comes from behind you and gallops forward.

The Pacific is also awesome. I had to rewind the opening credits at least 3 times each episode to listen to the scoreline. Another epic masterpiece by Hans Zimmer!

Jimbob 11 September 2013 04:29 PM

Another for Band of Brothers, quite liked The Pacific too.

cookstar 11 September 2013 09:02 PM

Most of them are good, however I'd add "The wire" and "Jericho" as ones to watch.

I'm currently on season 2 of "Lost" again.

davegtt 11 September 2013 11:08 PM

I had the world telling me Game of Thrones was a must watch, I watched 3 SERIES back to back. Mildly ok. Watched one series of Vikings and it was epicc. So much more exciting, interesting and historicly correct. Needs to be shown at school IMO

pimmo2000 12 September 2013 07:54 AM

• Breaking Bad - only up to season 2 but pretty good
• Banshee
• Sons of Anarchy
• Vikings - only managed two episodes
• Game of Thrones - Outstanding
• Prison Break - Not too bad
• Homeland - Gave up after three
• Walking Dead - Really good
• Boardwalk Empire - Very good
• Dexter - Good
• Sopranos - Excellent
• True Blood - Started ok, went crap, then good, then crap, the good
• Strike Back.- never heard of it.

How can GoT be historically correct ?

davegtt 12 September 2013 08:28 AM

Hey, I think I did rather well not making too many mistakes in that post, I was hammered when I got home from the pub. PS. Read the damn post, Im trying to say all the people who rave about GoT need to realise its not that great.... I said Vikings is Historically correct and alot more factual/educational. GoT was a pile of turd IMO

TonyG 12 September 2013 10:48 AM

No one mentioned Firefly?
