GC8 and GF8 are same fitment.

Postage are included for Northern Ireland also. :)

No problem mantazini. Let us know if you are in.

Let see how this group buy run in the next few days.
I am discussing with my parter to see if we want to make this group buy a bit easier by turning it into an initial offer just to get some feedback from owners. :)

I'll keep everyone updated over the next few days.

Ok, just wanted to make sure :)

Need to replace at least one front shock and the rears are now knocking a bit, so told myself i'd just get coilovers than replace them.

Assuming we get 10 then you can add me to the list.

EDIT: I should add, its for a 2008 Hawkeye, so GD 5x100

MeisterR 18 September 2013 03:02 PM

Not a problem Mark.

Also, I have changed the offer as I want to give more members a chance to try out the Zeta-R.
So for this time only, this group buy will hit the 20% mark with only 5 on board. :)

I have listed the instruction on page1, so anyone can put down a deposit or pay in full if you want the coilovers soon...

The 20% discount is NOW ON!!!

Jerrick

JonMc 19 September 2013 02:03 PM

I'll sort out the deposit in the next few days - I'm waiting on some additional cash by the end of October and as soon as that comes in I'll sort the balance otherwise it'll be credit card time:eek:

What are the rear top mounts like for noise on the gc8? And what warranty is on the them.
Thanks

MeisterR 22 September 2013 12:16 AM

No problem guys, any problem just E-mail me and let me know.
The webshop will be able to take all credit card and paypal order.

As for noise on the GC, it isn't an issue I have meet.
It seems the noise is mostly on the GD and that is why there is the huge press steel rubber mount to isolate the noise.
But I haven't had any complain of noise with the GC as of yet.

The warranty is 1 year, and I cover for track usage also.
So if the damper is leaking within a year after a weekend at Nurburg, you are covered.
But if you hit the armco and bent the damper... then it isn't covered... pretty much common sense and I will always do what I can to help. :)

Sorry about this, but I've just gone to pay and noticed surcharges all over the place for paypal and credit cards - not something I expected so I'll have to withdraw.

Quick question to all, are the rears that hard to get to? do I need the extensions? I have a 05 sti wide track.

The rears are easy to get to once you've taken the seats out - if it's a stripped track car you won't need extenders otherwise it's worth the £25:thumb:

har-vey 15 October 2013 02:10 PM

Got mine today, Thanks guys

JGlanzaV 15 October 2013 02:22 PM

What would these damper settings be like compared to the Teins I have on at the minute?

Problem I am having is rebuilding the teins is coming in at £700 just for the two rears, and knowing my luck the front will want doing the week after!

dazh71 19 October 2013 11:22 AM

Has anyone fitted these yet? just wondering what the ride quality is like, im after a set of coilovers for my blob sti :thumb:

JonMc 19 October 2013 11:26 AM

Not yet fitted, been too busy, but the build quality looks good:thumb:

dazh71 29 October 2013 12:04 AM

Anymore feedback on these coilovers? still cant decide which ones to go for??????

har-vey 29 October 2013 08:36 AM

ill give a little feedback on mine.

i ordered mine on a friday night and received on the following Tuesday morning so was very happy with the delivery time. (Ive had meister R coilovers on other cars and have always had good service)

fitting was A* all the original features are in place to hold brake hoses etc out of the way. install was very quick and easy.

i set mine 15 from hardest as a nice mid point and after my first drive i was very impressed. at this setting i find them less choppy than the original sti setup. they seem to take bumps in the road very well.

then was a country lane. Note i fit the coilover at the supplied height (about a 50mm drop) and i had no rubbing at all and the car handles like a dream. in fact i then fit a set of 17x9et42 wheels with 245/40/17 and drove the same route and still no rubbing :)

high speed the car also feels very planted so overall i am very happy with the new setup. i would highly recommend them to anyone looking for coilovers.

when i ask friends with BC's how they ride i tend to get the response " there a bit hard but i need to play with the damping". i cant say for myself but i believe the BC give a harsher ride.

For the money i think these are pretty amazing!

dazh71 29 October 2013 09:09 PM

many thanks for the feedback, my blob sti has std shocks + prodrive springs and does give a choppy ride so i dont want to make it worse with rock hard coilovers so i might just give these a go :thumb:

Sauce 31 October 2013 07:13 PM

Interested. PM'd.

dazh71 31 October 2013 11:42 PM
