Yep, we do have coilovers in stock for the 06 Sti Spec D.

We don't really do the rear one only, and at this price you might as well get the full set so you know the front and rear will match. :)

Is there the option to change spring rates for more track orientated use

JonMc 08 September 2013 11:08 AM

Are these inverted struts? I presume that when you say we have 2-months to pay after the end of the group buy, you will despatch these only after paid in full?

I am interested but not at the full price, is it okay to put my name on the list and pay the deposit as soon as we have enough buyers to get the 20% off:wonder:

Marck 08 September 2013 11:16 AM

How much extra would it be for the damping extensions ?

Interested but at the discounted price

billy21 08 September 2013 12:57 PM

I had a set of these on my civic type r and were really good

We can, but the 6/5 has been proven and do well on all occasion.
If you want slightly stiffer rate, that is possible but it will affect the ride quality.

I am happy to provide the springs rate change service for free just to get us started. :)

These are upright strut. We no longer do inverted strut as the additional maintenance upkeep are not worth the negligible performance gain (if any).

I will put your name down, there is no need to pay any deposit until you feel there are enough interests. :)
Please also indicate what car is it for so I can keep a stock count. ;)

Goods will be dispatch after pay in full, but putting the deposit shows commitment and therefore the price will be lock for you.

This is to keep it fair where other who have not shown the commitment will not get the same deal once the group buy deadline are past.

Also, just to mention, we can only provide a free springs swap for Classic GC8.

The reason is because the New Age GD coilovers uses a press steel rear top mount with heavy duty rubber surround to isolate suspension noise.
Therefore, the springs are custom coiled to this top mount and are not interchangeable with normal coilovers springs.

We can provide an optional (additional charge) rear pillow-ball camber adjustable top mount with articulated springs seat, and this will allow the rear to use a normal coilover springs.
The downside to the rear pillow-ball top mount is that more road / suspensions noise will be present and that may not be very nice for a road car.

Just let us know what you are after and we will do our best to give our recommendation for you to achieve your goal. :)

Hi Jerrick

Been searching a bit of info and found various as always, but what surprised me that you guys did a proper dyno testing on them and the results were excellent too. Now my main concern would be is a strut traveling... As you've mentioned it depends on the spring rate , but how more far the OEM strut would travel compared to your coilovers ? As an example i'll post a pic of mine @ Cadwell park on the section where i didnt have a problem as my standart shocks did travel enough to have a contact with the tarmac. I had a discussion with my buddy about same thing but he's on Tein 3K worth suspension which limited strut travel and was fooling the diff , as this affect he had to let the pedal a bit to get the contact with the tarmac... I know BC's can do the longer strut option. Your input would be appreciated

For those who wants to have a look at the test...

Those are actually the old dyno from a few years back, our current range damping are a bit more digressive compare to before. :)

As far as damper travel goes, it was never mention by anyone who had the MeisterR Zeta-R coilovers before.
There is quite a bit of travel in the suspension both front and rear.

From the picture, you are worry about rebound travel in the front?
Basically under acceleration, the front end lift up so much that it is trying to pull the front wheel off the ground?
If you let me know a little more what your concern is about, I'll look into it for you.
But like I said, it was never mention from any of the previous owners who use MeisterR coilovers, so it wasn't a concern that I had come across before.

The mountain section @Cadwell is like a little tramplin , and the pic was taken exactly there , what i've ment my strut is much longer so it reached the tarmac when the front lifted , where coilover strut is much shorter and when the front goes the wheels are off the ground. As rear wheels are touching the ground and fronts not that makes the subaru dccd diff go nuts :) ....

That is interesting... I can see how it is happening but must be a very specific set of motion to cause this issue.
Like I said, it is not something I have ever come across yet.

The Subaru dampers aren't short at all, about 6" of travel so that is how much your wheel will move by (MacPherson Strut have a 1:1 motion ratio).
You can always adjust the ratio of bump / rebound travel using the springs pre-load also, which one one of the best feature of the dual perch coilovers design.

I can always make something up specific, that can be done.
But in most cases I think you can just easily adjust the coilovers for it to provide what you need it to do... and of course I am here to help if anyone have any questions :)

Thanks for the reply. I'll leave it for now as my requirements would make the suspension more than I am willing to pay at the minute
