Blobeye sti engine
 

I'm new to the jap scene but after having a big turbo cupra r with a forged engine previously,

What power can the sti blobeye engine take safely? Looking at 400-450bhp...

I mean what are the pistons like,rods,cranks ect?

Thinking of a sc40 or sc420...but I can get FP greens/red for cheapish too!

I think there's many on here running you're desired power on standard internals.

Try a search its coverd almost every week buddy.

I don't mind spending the £ as that's what it's kinda all about!

I have thought about a Owens development ihi hybrid gt30 as I can get them below mrsp! Just considering a winter project but with buying a spare short block and getting that full forged but I would keep it 2.0 but a stroker 2.35 does sound decent!

I'm new to subaru game so I've gotta learn it all again! But my other option is buy a td05 16g cheap and get a local turbo company to make it a 20g hybrid ! Just something us vag boys used todo! And it did flow 420bhp but I don't know what the scoobs like flow wise !

im running around the 460 mark in my 2 litre sti on standard engine.
