Can't belive my 07 sti on here being broke for bits

What a waste of a decent car :(

Must be annoying when its a good well cared for car, seems the norm that they are all worth more in bits than they are as a whole, does make you wonder how the breakers can pay enough for a car that nice for the seller to hand over the keys and still turn a profit from the parts.

Funny tho all the parts will be sold then somebody will buy the shell and start putting it all together again lol what a waste of time hahaha

Makes you feel sick dont it

It's a crying shame for sure, a huge part of me thinks it's an utter crime to take a perfectly good car and stripping it for its parts, especially as so many of them seem to be absolutely mint. Fair enough if its a knackered hulk that's either ready for scrap, or has a problem that takes it beyond economic repair, but as far as I'm concerned one less performance car on the road is a loss for us and a win for the eco-box ****e.

This happen with alot of cars, then after a while when all car are scrape then it goes back up in value as you can't find them anymore.

Its happened to the old Ford Cosworth, and is happening now to cars like R32 GTR.

With that said an 07 isn't that old at all... which is a shame to scrape unless it had been in a major accident or fell into the sea. :(

Whats it matter!!

As long as you got the money for the car, your happy and the person who bought it can do what they like!!!:hjtwofing

I can see it must hurt from a personal point of view. They are in business to make money & the you could say the loss of one good car means that many others will be kept on the road.

I feel you pain, mine might be being broken, but I new that when I sold it, at least ill have a good idea who's got what! Hoping someone might buy it though !
