Good comment from Trev :-
"well done madam although taking the law into your own hands is dangerous if it were Britain they would probably charge you with theft as well and let the original thief go with a suitcase full of cash and a counsellor." |
It seems amazing to me that you can get blamed for taking your own stolen property back!

I had a visit from the police once when I recovered my property after it was stolen. The policeman was mad that I'd 'taken the law I to my own hands'. I showed him the door and have had an intense dislike and distrust for the police ever since. Good on the lady recovering her own bike.

The authorities' way of thinking seems to have lost any sign of common sense these days!

good on her
a month ago it was in the papers about a couple having their new caravan stolen, police found it, but won't recover it or tell them where it is because..... the gypo's living in it will be left 'homeless' if the police seize it :cuckoo: |
Bet the police would prosecute her over here,a long story but I got locked up for recovering a car of mine that was never paid for.

Could never imagine that outcome being so good in this country.she'd be arrested for sure.Political Correctness and too much pampering and pen pushing jobs has ruined this country. |
