Will this make the engine management light come on showing maf code.

smaller turbo but boosts earlier?

on standard 1998 ecu, wrx import.

Have you tried clearing the code to see if it comes back? May need to check wiring also

yeah, all checked and cleared

only since the smaller turbo been fitted on a new engine.
