Apple cut price of genuine chargers.

About time. Proof if anything the original chargers were overpriced. I have a few chargers I bought off Play.com for about £6 (inc usb lead). They look like the real deal, but TBH I have no idea if they are real or a very well made counterfeit. The only thing that I can see is diferent to the genuine is the box it came in and it has very faint handling scratches, like it was put ina big box with a load of other unboxed chargers, which makes me wonder if it is a genuine OE charger thats been removed from a iphone exported outside of the UK. Who knows...it works and I haven't died (yet). :lol1: Anyhoo, its a win for the consumer. |
Good for the consumer, but damage control for Apple. It's unconfirmed whether the charger in question that killed a Chinese woman was a genuine or a third party adapter. Anyhow, go buy your cheap 3rd party adapter and take it to the Apple store to exchange for a genuine one. Bargain!
