I presume we get to choose the washer colour as per other GB's, Tim?

Yes of course, thanks for bringing this up as I forgot to include it in the original post.

Hey Mark, I don't think the number of HP will be relevant as this shouldn't change the coolant pressure.

These are pretty thick 1 piece aluminum and are fully TIG welded so will actually be better than the 2 piece OEM aluminum header tank, some of the OEM ones are made out of plastic also.

Hey there mate, no plans to do this right now but maybe in the future some time.

Fonzey 19 August 2013 12:31 PM

Interested in a square black one. I've already got your PTFE spacer kit so do I get a further discount? :P

Yes we can discount it a little if you already have the header tank spacer kit :)

Ciaran 21 August 2013 10:41 AM

Sure will mate, they've been designed to be pretty much the same dimensions as the standard header tank.

Afraid not, they're being fabricated now though. As soon as they're on the way to powedercoat we'll PM with payment info.

I might be stating the obvious but there's not going to be any powder coating on the inside is there? Hot coolant and powder coat don't go well together.

Haha, no there will be no powdercoat on the inside of the tank.

Maz 03 September 2013 10:21 AM

Cheers Tim. May have been a bit of a strange question but having had problems with overspray on the inside of the filler neck on my standard header tank, I didn't want the same issue again.
