Fitted DRLS

got round to fitting my dads drls to his hatch tonight, as the weather was nice and was free why not :)

after 1 year the hole the foglights were has some usage, not once needed to turn the fog lights on

we went for the volvo style 4 led round type, just need to get 2 bezels to make them perfect and look 100% OEM but if your didnt know you wouldn't suspect they were not factory fitted, heres a couple of pictures will get some more at some point

They look OK, but can anyone explain why they want to run around with lights on al the time?

And at dusk, they can be quite blinding.

The only reason we fitted them is because the foglights were useless and a waste of time when foggy, so thought about giving the car a more modern look, the reason behind them is to make your car more visible to other road users and pedestrians, they can be dazleing If people don't turn there headlights on before it gets dark

Great idea. My biggest bugbear is people who drive in silly conditions with lights off. What's more annoying is their arrogance when you explain that you can't see them.

I told a woman in traffic last week that she almost got wiped out by a van a few miles back...she didn't have a clue. The minute it rains or a bit tricky I have my side or head lights on.

Can agree on that, people who drive in very heavy rain when you can barely see them behind you, I hate that!!

Agreed, I once confronted a woman I nearly hit as she had no lights on, she said, "well I can see OK, and anyway, it's my battery, why should I run it down for you?......."

Dan, did you ever try the retrofit source?

Some people have no idea!!!

I did thank you, although I am waiting for a reply back but that may have been because it was a Friday but that's okay I'm in no rush :)

A few more better pictures, while I'm waiting for a reply from the American site, I've made Temporary bezels using shaft seals :p they work so they will do for now!
