Reverse inlet manifold wedge

After abit of info regarding manifold wedge, I have a v3 that I have done a reverse inlet on but having problems with clearance issues with shutting the bonnet as top hose is touching. Can I get a manifold wedge without welding it onto the manifold as in just place in between throttle and manifold and user longer bolts?

Also where can I get a wedge from?
Thanks in advance.
Zak

You wont be able to use a wedge and longer bolts as the angle of the throttle body will change so the bolts will not screw in straight any more.

Spoke to engineer today and he said the same thing, the bolt holes won't line up due to being at an angle,Does anyone still do the manifold wedge?

Easier option is to take a little bit out of the bonnet where the pipe is catching to give you clearence

Not sure if Carl Davey still does them
Banny yes that's what I have decided to do as it's Alot easier then welding a wedge especially now Im at the stage where car is nearly complete and had it started for the first time today after 10months
