ditchmyster 29 July 2013 02:44 PM

:lol1: We'll have to ask him if it comes as part of the kit when you buy a £2k top mount.:lol1:

The Pink Ninja 29 July 2013 04:32 PM

It is Felly`s car, He was behind me and it was being driven in the que not pushed like everyone elses so would have had to have a bit of heat soak to some degree, Petrol leaf blower = quicker times :lol1:

JGlanzaV 29 July 2013 07:21 PM

That would be good to hear about dave, I need to get some track time in end of au/start sept, missing all the local stuff here due to manifolds not been in stock :(

Dave Y 29 July 2013 07:24 PM

Are you boys going to Rallyday

P555SBR 29 July 2013 08:17 PM

there was a few running top mounts me included the leaf blower helped john cool the intake temps which always helps on turbo cars its only the same as spraying front mounts with meth/water to cool the intake which a lot were doing on the day it was warm

dbrad 29 July 2013 08:53 PM

Ill be at Rallyday, got 4 track sessions booked. Any one get pics of the scabby old Legacy??

Shame the MLR won. :(

I had a good time, got pissed and soaked at SD Motorsport on Saturday, then baked, soaked and windwsept today.

Simon, JGM, can push his own fcuking car in future though, I got my foot ran over. :lol1:

Lol sorry man

johnfelstead 30 July 2013 06:34 PM

LOL Bingo! I did that for a windup, just for you Tidgy. :D

It actually works too a bit, but really needs a dry ice feed as the F1 boys use with their air blowers on the grid, as the air out of the leaf blower was quite hot! I might try an F1 setup next time, it would get the charge temps sub ambient that way.

Paul Colley, who runs the same TMIC just used water sprays, he did rather well this year on the handling course scoring good points for the team, I didn't have such a good day.

Tidgy 30 July 2013 06:51 PM

lol, righto. i think your blown ;)
