The End Is Nigh

Apple will be making plastic phones, well there's a surprise! :)

dpb 27 July 2013 09:29 AM

Talk about lowering yourself

JackClark 27 July 2013 09:59 AM

Great news. Should be a kick in the teeth for the Android manufacturers who's only selling point is 'cheap' that's pretty much all of them! Will you be buying fandroids? t may be in your price range.

Maybe on the flipside Samsung will make a device out of quality materials, it's about time.

That's old news on the iphone, its also supposed to priced around £65 and have a 1.5" screen so it may be similar to a classic style ipod which isn't a bad thing :D

You know I couldn't have put it better myself. :D

It's a troll response to a troll thread. There's an easy solution, if you see a thread from Andyroid, don't read it.

hodgy0_2 27 July 2013 02:29 PM

Andyroid , ahaha brilliant

You certainly dispel the myth the Apple users are humourless

Agreed. I knew this was going to be an anti apple trolling post before I even clicked on it :lol1: Some people really need to get a hobby.

dpb 27 July 2013 06:21 PM

It'll be plastic, but it'll be apple plastic and thus superior

JackClark 27 July 2013 10:30 PM

It won't be plastic, it'll be an advanced composite.

dpb 27 July 2013 10:50 PM

I'd be seriously worried if it were anything less

Like that but to use the Fandroids favourite word "Better"

Personally I hope it's cheap as chips and made out of something light, might get one as a second phone. My Nokia is buggered and I haven't found anything to replace it yet.

Skoobie Dhu 28 July 2013 12:52 PM

Be interesting to see if the reduction in manufacturing costs will really be passed on to the consumer or if its just to boost apples profits.

If they can release a competitively priced iphone with a 5" screen, ditch the consumer shackling lightning connector, add sdhc capability and remove the chav linked Illusory superiority complex I might even consider one.

Oh, and all the key apps will need to be free as well - I've owned a number of android devices in the last 5 years and never yet had to buy an app.

JackClark 28 July 2013 01:04 PM

Good apps cost money, you probably haven't experienced one yet. As an example, this is £3 hardly bank breaking http://www.algoriddim.com/djay-ipad
