are all ej20 heads the same?
 

i have heads from a v2 closed deck engine.

wondering if they will fit my standard wrx v2 engine.

They are not all the same. different cams with wrx - sti different manifold bolts centers for newer versions 99+ heads from the same year generally fit and if fitting v2 sti to a wrx, no gains unless mapped for the better cams and valves.

They are interchangeable but unless the Version 2 CDB has R.A heads,then no real gains to be had over what you have.

Not after gains. My 1994 wrx import has some gurgling out of the old coolant. I have a spare set of heads off a closed deck block just in case and need to know if these heads will fit on my block.

As in #3 - yes they will.
