Aftermarket equivalent to STI TMIC?

Hi All!

I have a 2003 WRX and was thinking about putting an STI TMIC on, bigger injectors, etc.

There are a lot of used STI TMIC for sale, but, as some of them are quite old and may be clogged, or have oil in, i'm wondering if there is an equivalent aftermarket tmic that would be as efficient? That we can buy here in the UK!

Cheers :thumb:

This probably doesn't help but mattybr in the trader section won't sell something that's not usable.

As for an equivalent i doubt you'll find one as so many people turn to FMIC's.

No real decent alternatives to a STi TMIC (not at sensible money in any case). Most of the aftermarket ones are rubbish.

I think bez300 used a hyperflow tmic to good effect. Process west also do a kit with updated under trays but is pricey iirc. :)

I think your right. There a couple out there, like the japspeed one, but, it doesn't look like anyone has tried/tested them.

Cheers for the heads up anyway :thumb:

Cheers for the feedback and info everyone! :-) at least I know now that the only choice for a TMIC is a used STI one.
