Which Impreza models have an r180 rear diff? And ABS?

Hi all,

I am attempting a 6 speed MT swap into my '94 Legacy turbo and have the box and 180 diff to go with it (UK V8 sti). I now need to find r180 rear drive shafts and hubs with ABS.

I have had a search through the forum but would like a definitive list of every Impreza that came with an r180 diff.

Am I right to think that ALL Sti's V3 onwards came with an r180? and the WRX's and UK models had r160s, including P1?

Can I therefore use r180 driveshafts from ANY of these Sti's? Are they all the same?

As for hubs, my car has ABS, so which of these models (if any) with r180 hubs came with ABS?

Any help greatly appreciated, cheers.

none of the classics with R180 had ABS

as a very general rule only the Type-R and the STi RA classics have R180 rear ends - the std 4door STi just has the R160 same as a P1..........

if you want ABS R180 hubs they will have to be new-age spec STi
