Scammer just tried to get my cash - "CharlieChoco"
 

He goes by CharlieChoco on this forum. Sent me reply to a wanted add that I posted on here, mentioning his "mate" had some coilies. He gave me the email address of "wheelswheelswheels@aim.com" to contact, while he was on the other end of that email address offering some suspiciously new tein SS for £250, with a pic that I later found on google images. When he repeatedly didn't give me any details about himself, nor provide me any extra requested pics I thought something smelt a bit funky. Did a bit of research and found this:

Be careful if anyone pms you with a deal that seems too good to be true, he nearly had my cash. Not smart enough though :hjtwofing

Just had a reply for him, clearly thinks its funny.

Looking at the thread on VXR Online it seems I'm aware of one of his alias' names - He used one of those names on vvoc.com. A few years ago before it was made aware he was a scammer, He painted some side skirts for me (crap job too) He lives in Widnes and his name is Paul.

That's the guy mate. I'm surprised you got your side skirts back with his reputation! Did a bit more research and got a few more details. Looks like he's done some time for it but is back to his old ways.

I dropped them off at a house in Widnes I don't know if it was his place or not but anyway he told me to pick them up on such a date and the date come and he kept fobbing me off for about a week saying he's not home bla bla bla so I just text him and said listen fella I'm on my way for these skirts so they better be ready.

Got to the house and picked them up, Looked like they had been sprayed a couple of hours earlier as lacquer was still tacky I was proper pissed off but at this point I just wanted away from the little prick before I lost my rag.

Like I say at this time (about 3 years ago) I wasn't aware of what he was or there's no chance in hell I would have used him... Think I still have his mobile number in my phone too but in all likelihood he's changed in now though.
