Relocate side lights and indicator (99 classic)
 

Hey all.

I have a facelift 99classic wagon and would like to swap the sidelights and indicators on the front.

I managed to find some LED amber 501 bulbs.

What type bulb is the indicator and can I get a white led equivalent?

Also has anyone done this, and how did you attack the wiring?

IIRC it's standard opposed pin 21W lamp.

No idea on LEDs.

If you have both out, see if the wiring will move, if not, it's a case of cutting, soldering, heatshrinking some extending cables into place.
