my prodirve bug sti
hi everyone had my bug since feb this year and just thought I'd start a ill thread, since I've had her I've done the following

Little update!! Over the last couple of weeks I've changed the gear box oil using redline lightweight and have to say the difference is unreal box feels so much smoother!! Changer diff oil using mutol gear 300, changed brake fluid to dot 5.1 and fitted new plugs ngk 7's

since the last post there been a few changes!! Love the Prodrive look which is why I have one to fit to my bug - disappointed though that the HT Autos splitter only comes in GRP which is not kerb friendly:(

They only make the prodrive ones in fibre glass which is more likely to split or crack on impact because they are more rigid - the other ones they offer on flexible plastic which I've clipped plenty of times on my current one and they don't crack, and they don't need painting:wonder:
I'm not sure how much interest he would need to make the PU ones but I'd take one off him... |
Oh that's not good was gonna order one soon didn't realise they were fibreglass defo don't want a fibreglass splitter that's just asking for trouble!!

Not done to much lately lowered the ride height a little more and had a fast road geo set up at drive dynamic!! And spent Saturday afternoon claying, polishing, waxing and sealing the old girl afternoon well spent I reckon!!
