Who the hell told me fitting injectors was easy !!!!

Christ, what a hassle !

ive had to remove the entire fuel rail both sides as the injectors would not come out, they have been in 18 yrs mind so you cant blame them LOL, but removing the rails is a pain as well, once removed i had to literally put a towel on the floor and push down on the injector to pop it out, even after twisting the injector to break the rubber seal and all that !!!!

Anyway, my question LOL, well 2

i bought them 2nd hand, had them cleaned etc etc but ive just noticed on 1 of them their are 1 or 2 small hairline cracks on the brown bit that surrounds the plintel is it, anyway, is this an issue ?

2nd, one of the damn tabs that the connector plugs onto has snapped off so the plug can just be pulled off, anyway or anyone sorted this, a cable tie LOL ?

wish i didnt bother now in upgrading to 440`s lol

cheers

have heard of the plastics breaking a lot with people trying to pull them out with pliers and the like, should'int be an issue as long as you get good connection and can keep it in place, as for fitting them I just normally remove the entire inlet, just done mine couple of weeks ago

Cheers bud, yeah, the top plastic can break but the hairline cracks are on this bit, they are faint but just wondered if anything to worry about, the car runs etc
, crap pictuire, my phone not good enough to get a close up of the cracks tho

i think i will use some gasket sealant in the connector to secure it in place since that tab has broke
