puzzeled by rear pad wear. pad sits too high help needed

removed my rear pads to give every thing a clean and found this

http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/...psbd16983d.jpg

now the car came with dotted and grooved disc's all round
and new pads in the rear

my question is have the wrong pads or wrong size disc's been fitted

what size should the rear discs be ?

cheers liam

were new pads fitted to old discs that have a lip on them??

*BADGER* 17 June 2013 05:12 PM

the pads over lap the discs tubbs
either the disc is the wrong size or the pads are wrong

the discs are like new

yup that is correct for a wrx

*BADGER* 17 June 2013 05:37 PM

wrong pads then i guess

wrx271 17 June 2013 09:40 PM

The rear pads should measure 73x54x16 I would check the discs aren't lipped on the inner edge I would also replace the rear pad springs and pins.

I wouldnt find that unusual with an aftermarket pad.
