Off to de-tango & make black!
 
Hi guys, I've wanted to do it for ages, got a few hours free this afternoon, so will give it a go. Could go massively wrong though, I know what i'm like!
I know there are a few guides on her with pics, but I'll take a few as well.

And if I manage to do it, anyone can!

I'm up to the part not where painting is due. Easy getting off the car. Separating them was the hardest.

I didn't use the oven mate. My my girlfriends hair dryer. 5 mins a light.

Must be a bloody good one as it needs to get very hot to melt sealant.
i used a hot air gun to do mine.

I worried about doing mine but turned out to be a easy straight forward job.. Like tubbytommy i used a hot air gun to melt the sealant

Best add oven pride to the list of materials. Oven absolutely stinks now after drying the paint. Missus has hit the roof!

My Missus' could make a cup of tea, it's really, really hot when you turn it to the hotest setting.

I did my clusters in the oven though, equal heat spread that way and no danger of "cold spots" leading to snapped plastic :freak3:
