scratch removal

so some little scrote has decided to run something all down the side of my bm. from quater panel to wing.:mad::mad::mad:
fortunately it hasnt broke the paint but its damaged the lacquer.
ive rubbed it with some t cut and its a lot better. you have to look to see it but how do you know when you are rubbing too much lacquer away and approaching the paint? ive seen the damage t cut can do!
im not sure if i should live with it (annoying) or have another go.
any advise welcome.

See if you can get somebody on the job with a machine polisher. There are many better products than T-Cut but all are best applied with either a DA or Rotary Polisher. In the right hands your paint will be perfectly safe too.

Pity you're not closer mate I'd of machined it out as best as could be expected.
