Toad alarm grrr

Subject: Toad alarm grrr Today at 20:57
Just bought a hawk sti Sunday and really hate the toad alarm. Chirps so loud when lock and unlock ( I leave house half 6 in the morning) and keeps locking me in the car. Does anyone know how easy they are to remove and if its removed will the standard key work again to lock and unlock? May even pay a decent alarm place to remove it

What version is it? Some can be permanently disabled or at least have the volume lowered.

If your toad fob is the standard one then you can silent arm and disarm:

Silent arming/disarming
If you would like to arm the alarm system without chirping the siren, press button 3 immediately before pressing button 1. The alarm will then arm with visual confirmation from the hazard lights only. To silent disarm the system, press button 3 immediately before pressing button 2. The alarm will then disarm with visual confirmation from the hazard lights only.
# If you arm the alarm system with a door, bonnet or boot open then the indicators will flash and the siren will chirp three times as a warning that the vehicle is not completely secure. The system will still arm, but will exclude the open zone until it is properly closed.

As said above. You can silent arm or disarm the system. Or if you have the pincode you can turn the chirp volumes down and also stop the locking on ignition. These will b set by the last owner probably and can be changed bk if you want.
