Tax Refund
My self assessment tax return for y/e 5/4/2012 was submitted on-line in January 2013.
This showed a tax overpayment. Do I have to claim separately or will it feed through the system into my back account automatically? If so when? Cheers, David |
Should gone back into your account Feb/march.!?
Assuming you've given them that option. |
My youngest wrote to HMRC eight weeks ago and hasn't even had a reply yet.

There's usually a tick box on the paper form to say you'd like any overpayment sent by cheque or paid direct into a bank account... isn't there an equivalent box in the online form?

I did my self assessment online at the start of may and had the refund in my account in 10 days.
