Surely the Scrap metal dealer must be called in to question here. Is it really that easy to get rid of a stolen car?

stonejedi 30 May 2013 08:40 PM

That has to be any drivers worst nightmare having that happen to them,a car being stolen is one thing but then being destroyed by a scrapy that has to the biggest kick to the teeth.SJ.

CREWJ 30 May 2013 09:36 PM

You have to question whether the scrappy had something to do with it.

Dan- 30 May 2013 09:49 PM

The guy in the scrap yard was really sorry about this as he dident no it was nicked (alltho we are not to sure) he said the car was mint when it was brought in on a trailer apart from missing loads of bits it was the scrappers Crain that did the damage. Most stuff was removed like wheels and suspension bit the main forged engine is there ad the lsd box. Also the kms ecu is still there with all sensors ect so not to sad.

We also got the name and loads of details of who brought it in. And is all been handed to the police who are going to take it further the owner is in good sprit tho i must say hes happy hes got most of the bespoke bits back i made him the the cosworth throttle body on the inlet and the 36/1 triggur set up. So looks like the lump will end up in a yaris or a micra lol

I hate it when I see stuff like this.

Reminds me of the guy on here who had his scoob stolen...only to see bits of it (engine etc. ) appear on Ebay just a few days later. :(
