Monaco and the FFP

I see Monaco are being bank rolled by another Russian billionaire.

How does a club that has average attendances of 4-5K get to spunk in excess of £100m on all of these players on insane salaries and get past the Financial Fair Play rules :wonder:

With France introducing the super tax, how will players at PSG like the idea of their peers at Monaco getting it all tax free.

I'd be interested in Platini's opinion.....

They'll 'threaten' them with a ban, then Monaco will dish out some cash and it'll all be forgotten. I wouldn't trust Platini as far as I could throw him.

Likewise

I hope that isn't the case though. But can't help thinking that they'll want all of those big names in Ligue 1 since it's good for business.

Maybe they'll set up a head office in France and agree to pay the taxes.

One thing's for sure, I bet Platini is sweating. FFP is essential and we'll see whether he has the courage to back it up, to the detriment of his friends.

I think we've all thought it's doomed to failure. I'm sure City, Chelsea, PSG, Anzhi will be watching with interest....

Breakaway European football boidy funded by Middle eastern and Russian billionaires anyone ?
