Dave Y 11 May 2013 05:35 PM

never been before I wont be going again you didn't miss much. Trade stands very poor.
On the plus side I did see some very nice Subarus.

mervil 11 May 2013 05:41 PM

Wasn't too bad apart from the weather! Some great cars there, never knew there were so many Integra DC5s in the country :lol1:

Gutted about the red Hawkeye Type 25 who had an engine problem though and the silver Scoob which spun out on its spilt oil and went into the barrier backwards  everyone seemed ok though :)

I do a lot trade stands with work and they are very expensive, all there seems to be was bloody sticker stalls, very disappointed with opie oils not being there but the guy was shouting there name out all the time(odd)

other than the sticker stalls, nobody actually seemed to be selling anything.

rota and bc/ksport were there but just seemed to be showing products rather than selling anything.

Paullen 12 May 2013 09:57 PM

I had fun out on track. Didnt really have a good look at the trade stands, they are always a bit rubbish.

Infected by sti 12 May 2013 10:08 PM

Phil the Opie guys were over at the rolling road, they had the Opie flags flying there, it was on your right along the back row next to the main road so to speak opposite the MLR stand iirc

bigphilbaby 12 May 2013 10:11 PM

They didn't have any oil for sale though which I found but disappointing they just sponsored the rolling road

Infected by sti 12 May 2013 10:17 PM

Tbh I didn't even notice lol we walked past the RR had a quick look and kept on moving, it wernt until we were walking back through I spotted the flags flying :lol1: as already said there was not much to look at

Busterbulldog 12 May 2013 10:23 PM

I expected more trade stand wise,I wanted to blow a few quid but there was feck all to spend it on other than VW stickers and horse burgers.

bigphilbaby 12 May 2013 10:27 PM

Spotted you when you were on the way out. I gave you a wave, but I think you were annoyed at the stewards on which way you were allowed to leave lol.
