VERY SAD NEWS ref Robocop

It is with great sadness that I wish to inform you that Kevin King known to many on here as Robocop passed away yesterday morning after losing his battle with leukaemia.
Aged just 47 Kevin was a member on here for many years and and attended many of the shows with his Type 20.

My thoughts to out to Sharon and his family at this time, a true gent and very good friend he will be greatly missed.

Went to Prodrive with Kev a few years ago, and always spoke at the shows.

Sad news indeed.

Kevin was a gentleman and a true character, I was lucky enough to be his friend and I will never forget him.

That's so true and he was so funny in his own way.

Sadly I only saw him a few times recently. Although I was truly honoured that KEV rang me and asked me to buy his car:thumb: but I think the new owner will keep it better than me.

Fighting cancer myself currently and I remember Robocop from when I used to be a regular on here. RIP, that just plain sucks :(.

I only knew him for 6 weeks.

It only took 20 minutes talking to him to realise a) what a really nice guy; and b) what a Scooby enthusiast; he was.

He never became rich, never became famous.
Far better than that, he clearly became highly respected by his fellow human beings.

Nothing has interested me to post on here for some years but the sad death of Kev jolts me out.

Had some great laughs with Kev in Germany especially with Nates horns ;-)
